In 2013, I ended an 8-year long relationship. I wanted to get married and he didn’t. ⁣I was a nervous little lamb going out into the ‘scary’ online dating world for the first time. ⁣I had all these thoughts in my head:⁣

I got ghosted (Want to meet up? ***crickets***)⁣. I got catfished (Let’s Skype? ***excuses after excuses***)⁣. Some guys didn’t make a move at all (Handshakes and awkward hugs don’t count)⁣. A guy brought his friend along to our first date (WTF?).

It was frustrating! ⁣

I got fed up so I sat down, hit the RESET BUTTON and did some DEEP SELF-REFLECTION.⁣ Within 3 months, I went on my first date with my husband. We got married after two years. Now we have two kids who boss us around. ⁣
